On 15 September 2025, we’re excited to welcome the Dutch Women in Cybersecurity community to the Microsoft Office in the Netherlands for the morning session of the SC900 Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals series.
This series is designed to offer a comprehensive understanding of the principles of security, compliance, and identity within the Microsoft ecosystem. It’s a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights and practical knowledge from industry-leading experts.

Speaker: Derk van det Woude, CTO Nedscaper
The session will be led by Derk van der Woude, CTO of Nedscaper, who will use the real-life example of the major police hack in September 2024 to train attendees. In this incident, a police volunteer unintentionally clicked on a phishing link, allowing a state-sponsored actor to gain access to the personal data of 65,000 police employees.
Derk will walk participants through how such attacks unfold and more importantly, how organizations can defend themselves using Microsoft’s powerful cybersecurity solutions.
