Deze week verscheen in het Financieel Dagblad een artikel over Zuid-Afrikaanse arbeidsmigranten in Nederland. Nedscaper werd daarin genoemd als een van de bedrijven die actief samenwerken met Zuid-Afrikaans talent. Een onderwerp dat dicht bij ons staat. Want waar het artikel met name ingaat op de regelgeving, zien wij vooral kansen, groei en positieve impact voor onze klanten en voor jonge professionals in Zuid-Afrika.
Nedscaper is actief in zowel Nederland als Zuid-Afrika. Meer dan de helft van ons team werkt vanuit onze kantoren in Kaapstad en Johannesburg. Niet vanwege kosten, maar omdat daar enorm veel talent zit. Jonge mensen met ambitie, nieuwsgierigheid en een sterke werkethiek. Juist in cybersecurity zijn dit eigenschappen die het verschil maken.

In Zuid-Afrika bouwen we actief aan de ontwikkeling van lokaal talent. We werken samen met opleiders en techcommunities, en geven jongeren de kans om zich te ontwikkelen tot volwaardige cybersecurity-specialisten. Sommigen werken lokaal bij ons in Zuid-Afrika, en enkelen van hen kiezen ervoor om tijdelijk of permanent in Nederland te werken. In beide gevallen zorgen we voor goede begeleiding, opleidingsmogelijkheden en een stevig sociaal vangnet.

South African Talent as the Driving Force Within Nedscaper
We invest in young talented people, not in labor migration.
This week, the Financial Daily published an article about South African migrant workers in the Netherlands. Nedscaper was mentioned as one of the companies actively collaborating with South African talent. This is a topic close to our hearts. While the article focused primarily on regulations, we see opportunities, growth, and positive impact for our clients and young professionals in South Africa.
Nedscaper operates in both the Netherlands and South Africa. More than half of our team works from our offices in Cape Town and Johannesburg. Not because of costs, but because there’s an incredible amount of talent there. Young people with ambition, curiosity, and a strong work ethic. Especially in cybersecurity, these are the qualities that make all the difference.

In South Africa, we actively build local talent development programs. We partner with educational institutions and tech communities, giving young people the chance to develop into fully qualified cybersecurity specialists. Some work locally with us in South Africa, while others choose to work temporarily or permanently in the Netherlands. In both cases, we provide proper guidance, training opportunities, and a strong social safety net.
