The Role
As an MXDR Manager at Nedscaper, you are responsible for leading the security operations team to provide comprehensive cybersecurity MXDR services to clients. This role involves managing the SOC team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality security monitoring, incident response, and threat intelligence services. You will work closely with the Director of Cyber Defense and Head of MXDR to drive operational excellence and maintain our 24/7 threat protection service. Your mission is to ensure team performance, client satisfaction, and continuous improvement of our security operations while fostering a culture of learning and development.

Key Responsibilities
Collaboration and Leadership
- Lead and manage the SOC team, ensuring all members are highly trained, motivated and work cohesively
- Responsible for performance and assessment review input and results of the MXDR team
- Regular check-ins with senior members of the MXDR team to ensure their wellbeing, performance and development
- Alignment with the Country Director on regular check-ins with junior members of the MXDR team
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the MXDR Architect
- Establish SOC performance goals and priorities aligned with Nedscaper’s and client’s security objectives
- Manage scheduling and assignment of security analysts for continuous monitoring
- Drive and coordinate continuous improvement efforts
Quality and Efficiency of the MXDR Team
- Oversee the detection, analysis, and response to cybersecurity events and incidents across client environments
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures in line with industry standards
- Ensure MXDR client cases are handled in accordance with SOPs, and SLAs, KPIs and OKRs are met
- Coordinate major incident response efforts and communication
- Work with senior analysts to maintain and develop a high-performing SOC team
- Provide regular training sessions, mentorship, and professional development opportunities
- Report to MXDR Operational management, Delivery Team and Chief of Operations with regular updates
MXDR Services
- 24/7 Threat Protection service
- Security Posture Management service (joined effort with Delivery and Consultancy)
- Threat Intelligence service
- Collaborate with other departments to understand client security needs and integrate them into MXDR operations
